Your Website is Broken

Your website is your best salesperson, but is it doing its job? Getting traffic is one thing; getting people to take action (conversion) is another. Let’s fix the leaks in your funnel.

1. Is Your Home Page a Headache?

  • Can a visitor tell what you do in less than 5 seconds? (If they have to search around, you lose them. Your value proposition needs to be front and center.)
  • Is your main Call-to-Action (CTA) hidden way down at the bottom of the page? (The most important action—like “Request a Quote” or “Start Free Trial”—needs to be above the fold and easy to click.)
  • Do you use jargon that your customers don’t understand? (Stop talking about your “synergistic marketing solutions.” Use simple, clear language that focuses on the benefit to them.)

2. Are You Making People Work Too Hard?

  • How many fields are in your contact form? (Every extra field lowers your conversion rate. Do you really need their fax number? Keep forms short and sweet.)
  • Do you offer a high-value item for free (a Lead Magnet)? (Giving away a free checklist, e-book, or template is how you capture leads. Are you asking for their email address in exchange for something useful?)
  • Do you use pop-ups that actually help, or just annoy? (An exit-intent pop-up with a great offer can work, but a huge pop-up that blocks the page the second they land is a user experience (UX) nightmare.)

3. Are You Building Trust Instantly?

  • Are your customer testimonials front and center? (Social proof is everything. Are you showing five-star reviews, recognizable client logos, or even video testimonials?)
  • Does your site look modern and professional? (Outdated design instantly erodes credibility. Your website is often your first impression.)
  • Do you have security seals and privacy policies easily accessible? (This is crucial, especially for e-commerce. If people don’t feel safe, they won’t hand over their credit card details.)
